As part of a public/private partnership this project embraces the idea that university campuses can be a successful part of a high street atmosphere. A major urban renewal effort, the project integrates campus and community by connecting a new town center to traditional streetscape as well as to a Campus Green to create new civic as well as commercial spaces. This high-density development-Retail, Student Housing, Classrooms, and Offices-marries urban and institutional sensibilities with ecologically sustainable design.
