Grand Avenue is the heart of Los Angeles' cultural center, yet it lacks the amenities that would make it an inviting and accessible environment. Altoon + Porter worked with Frank Gehry, Arata Isozaki and Laurie Olin to propose a design plan that rejuvenates the Music Center complex, and creates an optimal environment for public amenity and accessibilitty. The redesign transforms the Music Center Plaza into an inviting urban public park connecting the various cultural venues.
